Welcome to Tote Rentals USA: A Better Way to Find Moving Totes Near You

Moving usually comes with a familiar routine: find dozens of cardboard boxes, tape them together, hope the bottoms hold, and then figure out what to do with all that cardboard after the move.

Reusable moving totes offer another option.

These sturdy plastic containers arrive ready to pack. Most have attached lids, stack evenly in a moving truck, and don't require tape. After you unpack, the rental company collects them for cleaning and reuse.

The problem has been finding a company that serves your area.

Why we created Tote Rentals USA

Tote rental companies operate across the country, but most are independent local businesses. Some serve one city, while others cover an entire metro area or several counties.

Until now, finding them often meant trying several different searches and sorting through moving companies, storage containers, junk-removal services, and businesses that no longer operate.

Tote Rentals USA was created to make that search easier.

Our directory organizes reusable moving-tote, moving-bin, and plastic moving-box rental companies by state and ZIP code. Each company has a summary page explaining its primary location, service area, and rental offering. From there, you can visit the company's official website to check current pricing and availability.

We don't process rentals or choose a company for you. You compare the available providers and book directly with the business you select.

How moving-tote rentals work

The exact process varies by company, but most rentals follow a few basic steps:

  1. Choose a package based on the size of your move.
  2. Schedule delivery or pickup of the empty totes.
  3. Pack and move using the totes and any included dollies.
  4. Unpack within the rental period.
  5. Have the empty totes collected or return them to the provider.

Packages may include labels, zip ties, dollies, packing supplies, delivery, and pickup. Rental periods commonly range from one to four weeks.

Because prices, delivery areas, and package details can change, you should always confirm the current terms on the provider's website before booking.

What you'll find in the directory

Tote Rentals USA currently lists companies serving communities in 44 states. The directory includes small owner-operated businesses, regional providers, and larger companies with city-specific service areas.

We require an active business website before adding a company. We also review the website for evidence that the company rents reusable totes, bins, crates, or plastic moving boxes in the location shown.

Some state pages are still empty. That doesn't necessarily mean no provider exists. It means we haven't found one that meets the directory's current verification requirements.

For tote rental business owners

If you own a tote or moving-bin rental company, you can submit your business for consideration. You can also claim an existing listing when information needs to be corrected or updated.

Listings are intended to help customers discover your business and then visit your official website. Submitting a business is free, although every request is reviewed before publication.
